OEI XVIII: August 11-16, 2024
We are excited to announce that we are planning to host OEI XVIII August 11-16, 2024! The Corridor and OEI partners are looking forward to hosting a new class of OEI students come this summer.
As we plan for OEI XVI, we are looking for those interested in being host families for 2-4 students, as well as anyone interested in being a sponsor for this year’s OEI. If either of these impactful roles interest you, please contact Alyssa Petersen for more information.
Working Schedule:
Sunday, August 11th: Students arrive early afternoon; Introductions to the program & each other; meet homestays; OEI Welcome Reception hosted by Okoboji Classic Cars
Monday, August 12th: Local Business Tours; Mentor Sessions; Evening Networking at local home/business
Tuesday, August 13th: Local Business Tours; Lake Afternoon; Dinner & Evening with Homestay
Wednesday, August 14th: Mentor Sessions; Pitch Competition; Evening Networking at local home/business
Thursday, August 15th: Mentor Sessions; OEI Sendoff Celebration hosted by Tom & Molly Bedell at Peace Harbor
Friday, August 16th: Sendoff Breakfast; Students depart
